This collection consists of two typewritten manuscripts by Catherine Duncan Stone. One (10 l.) is an account of her experiences as a school teacher on Smith's Prairie in Elmore County, Idaho during the winter of 1916-1917. She describes her trip from Boise and gives an account of school and community life on Smith's Prairie. The second manuscript (5 l.) is a family history of the Pierce and Duncan families.
